This place makes me sad. I used to use this website when I was a kid until about 2016. I started lurking again recently to see how everyone was reading to recent shit. It's like this place is completely different in the worst ways, but also the same in the worst ways.
I don't hate anyone. I want everyone to be able to live in peace and safety, regardless of their religion or race or gender or sexuality. I really do think that's possible. I just don't think I'll live to see it.
I'm sorry some of you are so angry. I understand how this world drives people insane. I don't think there's a single sane person alive right now. How could you be sane in a world like this? But holding onto hate doesn't make it any better. The only thing that keeps me going is love. There's beauty in everyone. Even inside of you.

I really just don't want anything to do with image board culture anymore. The world and the internet has gotten too small. Different communities used to actually be different.
