worse, its just been definitively proven that vehicle warfare is on the backburner now. a cheap drone one tenth the cost can take out basically any vehicle you can put out, with currently little to no real countermeasure to stop them.
doctrine wont help because the only way to make it work would be to wipe out the enemies drone capacity before you advance the vehicles, and they're just so comparatively cheap by military standards the time frame to accomplish that would just be ridiculously long, if you even can.

The correct way is to obviously overreact completely in the SIGINT department and use long range artillery, the howitzer type like the Pzh2000 to fucking annihilate anyone who is caught emitting with their shitty drones. That or hide safely behind your line of contact and vigorously scan where the fiberoptic drones are launched from with their limited mobility.

It's all fine and dandy until your long range artillery is featured in "Lancet hits compilation number 69". This is near peer warfare, my guy, air recon and SIGINT are present on both sides and almost completely nulify any big brain moves like yours. M777, Krabs and such supposed to be the next big thing that would definetely show them russkies not to mess with Ukraine, but alas. Fiberoptic drones are able to reach 30K.
