>>510956784 (OP)let’s get back to that time in 1987 when the Harrods safe boxes got blown open The thing to remember here, is that Harrods, the massive old traditional style department store in the center of rich rich fucking mad rich Knightsbridge London, was owned by Mohammed Al Fayed. Back to the robbery, let’s get to that bit. It was a wall of safe deposit boxes deeeeeep in Harrods offices, this isn’t anywhere you or I could have got into, but two geezers got in there, ID and access given, and they blew the fuckers open all open, stuff inside got robbed, everything gone, chaos ensues. It was MASSIVE news in the UK at the time, huge, bonkers large, two blokes walk into a national institution and rob it using explosives, and walk right out with their haul, fucking barmy, obviously a seven way scam. staff, coppers, security, management, criminals, city employees, fucking huge, giant caper, spider web everywhere kind of stuff. So, we go back to that name, Tiny Roland, This is where it gets interesting. Lots and lots, and I mean a fucking shit tonne of very wealthy, well connected people got their shit robbed that day, and they all sued Mohammed Al Fayed, as the sole owner of Harrods, for the failure in providing adequate security. Tiny Roland had a load of diamonds in one of the safes, a fucking LOAD of diamonds, enough to act as a security on deals you and I can’t fathom, half of London, that sort of thing, big, massive haul. And he’s suing Mohammed Al Fayed, because he knows Al Fayed has fucking ripped him off for his diamonds, that’s the scam! The criminal underworld of the 1980’s is now mainstream press, headline news, and all the elements are there, British Institutions, London gangsters, diamonds, explosions, safe cracking, corruption etc etc. And in the middle of the court trial, the Head of Security for Harrods gets called as a witness to give evidence in the Old Bailey courthouse in the world, in the biggest court case going and he says this.
