Catholcism is nice for the most part. I practiced it for most of my life. But it's egalitarian, pacifistic, anti-abortion and race denying. It shouldn't have any serious influense in politics, just a cultural thing.

Mexicans don’t typically believe in stuff unless they are being directly instructed to in the moment and even then they will quickly revert the second they aren’t monitored. Also their version of Christianity is almost unrecognizable by our Protestant standards.
