It feels even weirder than few years back, when people started talking about it. How is Russia going to prepare for war with entire Europe, while bleeding out in Ukraine for another 2 years? Why is US president antagonizing it's allies with some silly tarrifs when there's literal war just around the corner?

Will Russians really commit civilizational suicide when mr Chinkman says it can't wait any longer with Taiwan?

Russia doesn't have the man power to invade Europe. China is already winning economically and has no reason to start a war.
NATO would be extremely retarded to start war with the 2 of them at once.
China can simply employ human waves tactics to win and good luck invading Russia in winter.

this is an argument I keep hearing but population size doesn't necessarily directly translate into lethality. China took Hong Kong with legalities, so seeing how the Taiwanese parliament is already controlled by the pro China faction I dont see any reason not to simply use time and propaganda to take over. And why would the US want to enter that war? Or against Russia? They have everything they need at home once chip manufacturing is up and running.

Fake and gay theatre for more military funding, all the "superpowers" have been sucked dry from the inside out. They're all paper tigers, that's why Iran didn't pop off WW3 despite decades of claims that Iran attacking Israel would be a worst case scenario. "You won't do shit" is the motto of the world.
Russia tried to buck the trend and now they're stuck in a quagmire against troons with RC toys. Now they'll go further into debt for nothing, just like the USA and all the other big dick military powers. China is too busy trying to keep appearances and not get BTFO on trade, taking Taiwan is out of the question. Israel is the strongest force of all, they're 100% dependent on foreign weapons and they only fight starving dune coons with questionable results.

EU / NATO / West are retarded kikes and think they can just throw chequebooks at problems. It takes a decade if not more to build a war industry out of scratch, It needs steel, machinery, heavy industry, lots of energy, not this "green industry" and "carbon neutral" shit. They had ten years for a wakeup call since 2014, but even since 2022 nothing is happening, just kvetching how they "intend to" and "may" increase shell production, but zero actual production. No amount of narrative can replace materiel.

Its just the very basics of materiel, bullets, shells, boots, trucks. The EU produces none of it on its own, its all Chinese precursors assembled together. You cannot maintain a strategic supply chain like that. It just begs to be cut. The leftists have zero mindset for perseverance or self-sustainability and think just control of the media to make the bad thoughts go away is enough.

This is just the least of the problems, seeing how they lack the population to either work in the factories or get drafted. The competence crisis is real, zoomers can't fight for globohomo and all the migrants, women, troons and other assorted dregs they were trying to promote in their armies in expense of white men won't.

And now with their economies falling, dependent on the oil and gas they are intending to fight, JUST after they shut down their nuclear reactors they don't even have the money to fight. No arms, no men, no cash. So what the fuck these larpers could even do?

But who is "you"? If you're sociopathic head of government, then conducting war that will ruin your country is still preferable option as long as it helps keeping you in power.

Both Russia and China are rulled by same kind of people as North Korea. That's why they like each other so much. They all have nukes, so nobody will invade their capitals if they lose the war - they can just close borders and rule forever in state of constant war.

Because in geostrategic game between global powers, earlier or later there's a time to call. That's what war were always about. People who say it will happen 2027, say China will be at it's prime in that year, and waiting will only do them disfavor. I'm not sure personally, but I've heard too many opinions of people who know China better than me saying it'll happen. If anything, everyone was saying Russian won't invade Ukraine because it's madness - yet it happened.

Xi isn't that genius state's man, that his shills paint him to be. He started transition of prosperous China into authoritarian and totalitarian shithole as soon as he got into power. I was regularly visiting China between 2008 to covid and I witnessed this change.

Difference between him and Putin is that he isn't as short-tempered as some ex-kgb, Leningrad criminal. However his goals are very similar and he'll reach for these sooner or later.

How? The US is not a bottomless pit of weapons and is having a hard time supplying either Ukraine or Israel. The US industrial complex can't scale up production in the same way Russia did because it is a for profit industry and all its there for is to make its shareholders rich while Russia's defense industry is meant to supply the Russian army during wartime.

>How is Russia going to prepare for war with NATO/Europe?

It’s already at war with NATO/Europe via the Ukrainian conflict. No matter how that war ends, it’s going to lead to more serious conflicts down the road. The goal of arming Ukraine with sophisticated weaponry and prolonging the war is to weaken Russia in the long term. This has worked in a sense if we take the number of casualties into account. I’ve seen numbers in the millions and also far less. It’s hard to say what is and isn’t bullshit. From another perspective, it has strengthened Russia’s industrial base as they’ve reinvigorated their industrial infrastructure for war, which isn’t good for NATO. No one will call it WW3 until the chess game in Ukraine ends - it’s a cork holding back the immense pressure of full scale global war involving major powers. Iran and China will support Russia. None of us really know what this war will look like. What kind of weapons would be implemented? What about nuclear deterrence? I think for the first time since Pearl Harbor, the US could see bombs fall on its soil (9/11 doesn’t count because it was blatantly an inside job perpetrated by the Zionist deep state). We all live under the shield of nuclear deterrence and it makes us feel “safe”, but what if a nation is secretly in possession of something - perhaps a weapon - that renders deterrence obsolete. Why would super powers inch closer to global war if it means everyone loses in the end via nuclear Armageddon? It doesn’t add up.

as to Russia I would say it's mostly post hoc rationalizations, but the one I believe is that they want to close certain strategic gaps to have a more solid defense in the future.
and yes, China sees America engaged on two other fronts as a golden opportunity I think. But did they know Russia would go to war? the global intelligence community said it was unthinkable except MI6 who sounded the alarm two weeks in advance.

> asked whenever any war breaks out, yet they keep happening
depends on which war, most of them are very much predictable, esp. when belligerents themselves say they are going to. not to mention power vacuums, resources, ideology, etc.

There's no way Putin did not consult Ukraine with Xi. He literally waited Winter Olympics of 2022 to finish so that it isn't overshadowed by his invasion.
>Xi saying he'll take Taiwan doesn't mean a shooting war.
You seem to think that he's some confucian wise man. He's not. Unlike his predecessor, Xi plays from Mao's playbook. Just like maoistic China took over Tibet and tried to take over Vietnam, just like China during Xi starts petty battles with India and escalates territorial disputes with everyone in the region.

Only way for China to control Taiwan without military is if Taiwanese wanted that. They don't. There are two political forces in there: one doens't considers itself as same nation with mainland Chinese, other is fucking Kuomitang that fought commies. There's just no way of arranging relationships between Taiwan and China that's acceptable for both sides. Yes, Kuomitang seeks cooperation with China, but not in the way Chinese commies want. Taiwan isn't like Ukraine to China's Russia - it's more like Poland.

I think the combined industrial complex of NATO and allies is powerful enough to withstand Russia, even if it takes a few years to mass produce military equipment. I think there will be a pause in the current Ukraine conflict (I expect mid 2026 to 2028), during this time EU will prepare for war and probably even send some troops to west-Ukraine. What we call a WW3 will probably happen around 2028-2033, first it will be conventional, but when things heat up, I don't exclude some small exchange with tactical nukes. All this will end with a new UN and a new world order, we will have at least 4 major powers or clusters which will have a agreement similar to post WW2 world.

Authoritarian leaders calculate on different assumptions and that's why there are so many wars between authoritarian shitholes. You don't keep in power by doing nothing and even if your country loses some war - you're personally still not bothered that much.

This War has been the best thing to happen to Russia in a century. Before the War their military was in freefall. Now after a decade of fighting they have the most advanced tactical and field knowledge of any military on Earth. The videos they Russian propaganda channels put on youtube are incredible, NO army in history has fought with such efficiency and accuracy. While ukraine side posts a few videos a week of killing prisoners with FPV drones, Russians upload detailed sophisticated tactical videos of the best War tactics seen in history of Warfare. For example yesterday they uploaded a video showing multiple times where a Russian FPV drone struck a Ukraine hideout only minutes after Ukrainians had entered, something like that was unheard of even 10 years ago, the efficiency and speed of Russian actin is incredible, only a fool would doubt them, they would tear our assholes if we went to War with them, these aren't sandal wearing Ayyrabs, Russian forces are a well oiled killing machine that would eat up our military fags and traitors for breakfast

> There's no way Putin did not consult Ukraine with Xi
How would you know? Several times in this thread you've (partially rightly) pointed out that people usually don't see wars coming so I would say the same about Xi and Putins relationship.

I think both Xi and Putin are paranoid considering what happens to powerful people in these countries, not
> confucian wise man
or a Putin a cultured man of learning but they are definitely ruthless which I would say goes hand in hand with paranoia, which makes me want to assume the opposite is true. There is underlying enmity between Russia and China as well, the Olympics seem like trifle. And it also begs the question why literal commanders in the Russian army were unaware up until they went from exercise to being shot at. Wouldn't it make more sense for Putin to tell his own troops rather than Xi?

From your earlier post about going to China I think it's safe to say you know more about that than me, but I have lived in and studied in Russia and I feel confident I know something about that. So maybe we're talking past each other a little.

Regardless, I would want to think about what both say in their (ideal) military doctrine. гибpиднaя вoйнa and Chinese "unrestricted warfare" both attempt to unify all strategic tools simultaneously, even if the 2022 invasion was bungled I think the 2014 annexation was elegantly performed. I might be wrong about the internal political climate in Taiwan but I would start with them, instigate protest, targeted assassinations, blackmail and escalate up to a blockade. It wouldn't even need real warships, the Chinese have even established a fourth wing of their Naval branch they could start with. Summing it up I'd say the conversation about a full on invasion is far less nuanced than it should be, Xi being intelligent or not.

What would you say Maos playbook would be on Taiwan if he's following that though?

NATO must be ready to suck Chinese dick because Europe and America don't make steel or pharmaceuticals.

Hitler had two fronts and he had a German manufacturing powerhouse behind him.

But don't worry, these zogged out homos can do it without that and while having their anal worms munching on their brains.

I don’t doubt their field capabilities at all. Historically, the Russians win ground wars. My view however is the so-called end game. It doesn’t make sense for super powers to directly go to war, the reason being is nuclear deterrence. The Ukrainians cannot win this war as you and I both know and this may lead to NATO ground troops being deployed to reinforce western Ukraine. Now this doesn’t add up - the Russians would field and out maneuver the NATO forces, let’s say NATO gets crushed and Putin moves to annex Ukraine or at least a very large portion, this would lead to nuclear warfare. A similar situation would arise if NATO began to push back the Russian forces and capture Crimea. All roads seem to lead to nuclear warfare unless for some unknown reason they are off the table. I often wonder if nuclear weapons are obsolete in this generation of warfare. If they aren’t obsolete and nukes are on the table, why would global super powers be willing to risk this? Everyone loses in nuclear conflict. Hard to claim victory over another nation if all you’ll be inheriting is radioactive ash while half your own population was evaporated in 30 minutes, the other half slowly dying an agonizing death from radiation sickness and starvation.

>How would you know?
Putin went to Beijing to meet with Xi personally on february 4th, 2022. Invasion of Ukraine was just too big of a deal and if Putin kept it as a secret back then, it would ruin his relation with Xi. This relation obviously wasn't ruined.

I remember that before that meeting US intelligence claimed that date of invasion was suppose to be 16th or 17th february.
>but I would start with them, instigate protest, targeted assassinations, blackmail
That would require much more influence in Taiwan than China has. Blockade is an option but that won't win Taiwanese and will only pospone the moment of attempting to take control by Chinese military.
>What would you say Maos playbook would be on Taiwan if he's following that though?
Reason why Chinese commies didn't invade, was because their navy sucked and their ground forces got their ass kicked in Korea and Vietnam. Now they have huge navy and are drunk of their power (or sense of it) similar to how Russians were pre-invasion on Ukraine. I can see open invasion nowadays, it could be predecessed by blockade.

Ah, I forgot about that (daydrinking in obscene 30 degrees here lol).
> it could be predecessed by blockade
depending on my other capabilities it's where I would start. I agree on Chinas influence not being that great but I remember how several commanders had their families threatened or blackmailed in 2014. add in things like cyberattacks, EW and I mention assassination again because you could wreak havoc, then use the chaos and fake infighting as a mandate to instate your own government. One you could potentially collect from compromised politicians already there as a "moderated" response then simply lean on those people over time.

Starting with a blockade also gives you more time to see what the US/AUKUS/NATO will do rather than forcing a reponse that is full on war or not.

War won’t happen because NATO lacks the ability to wage it. Why enter a war you’re gonna lose simply cause you lack combat power?
NATO ground force in Europe is Ukrainian Army, de facto, and they’re getting pulverized.
Even if they were serious and competent about it, it’s gonna take a decade to build up their MIC to a level where it could rival Russian MIC.

I mean just run the scenario in your head.
Imagine British deploy whooping 2 brigades to fight Russians.
Even if they fight spectacularly well (they won’t, they lack any real experience institutionally), they’ll still lose equipment, ammo, soldiers. A brigade engaged in a month of high-intensity combat has to be rotated out and replenished.
Now from what materiel and manpower pool are they gonna replenish them? Where are their manpower reserves? Which factories are gonna build replacement gear?
NATO is woefully unprepared and it’s one thing to fight conflict yourself, and another one to support one army fighting a country that’s waging a limited war on it.
Russian combat potential wouldn’t be carefully dosed in this scenario. They wouldn’t be attempting to shield their civilian population from war effort like they’re doing now for economic and political reasons.

Because Ukraine has become a geostrategically important territory for NATO and there has been too much investment in its defense to simply walk away defeated from NATO’s POV. It would be an absolute disaster if NATO discontinued its efforts in Ukraine, both optically and strategically. Rare earth materials are a big reason, as well as NATO’s goal of weakening Russia. If Russia lost Crimea it would be an existential disaster for Russia and NATO sees this. In terms of optics, if nato “lost” they would look even more dumb and risk a huge loss of influence globally. Look at the disaster that was pulling out of the Middle East - it made the west look pathetic. NATO must secure rare earths.
