Big pharma bro here: the way FDA regulations are set up, ultimately there to protect you from buying Chinese snake oil that supposedly makes your cock bigger, PROHIBIT any small company from entering pharmaceuticals. You by definition need to be large to be able to pay for all of the regulatory and quality bullshit regulations. It is impossible for a small start up or mom and pop pharma business to be regulatory compliant.

I’ve worked on a team where 3 people made 90% of the US supply for drug x. But the support staff to keep them compliant and able to sell numbered 120
