Because "capitalism" is from "capit", meaning "head"

And so it comes from the sense of

1) things being objectified as "heads" of cattle in order to handle them most efficiently

2) even the words "cattle" and "chattel" are shortenings of "capital", meaning "heads"

3) and the entire system exists for the benefit fof the "heads" of the enterprises -- the owners and executives

And so capitalism is a system of heads -- objectified heads of cattle below, owned and exploited by the heads above who exploit them
