It's a pretty cool ceremony, tbf. It's fun to shout religious chants and hurl insults at each other from the seats across the border while watching the goofy interactions of the guards.
I don't know how public opinion regarding other nations is over there, but you all should probably have something similar at the Mexican border too. I bet the MAGA crowd in Texas would love some kind of patriotic pissing contest/banter against the Mexicans. Obviously not an expert, just my two cents

I'm just playing around, I don't think the borders need any kind of ceremonial guards in the US. We have special guards at the white house and tomb of the unknown soldier that are similar to the queens guard. Basically all this stuff is just taken from the British.
