Actually, the Columbia and Willamette River basins are the only places on earth where a population of more than 1 million foragers could self sustain with ease. Oregon has one of the highest biodiversities in the world. I make my living foraging the wilds here. I know a thing or two about how sustainable the PNW is and also how little the natives generally like liberals once you step foot outside Portland metro.
And if this shit becomes a civil war, count on Portland being looted and cut off.
