applying democracy to Romania is so funny because it is a contradiction in terms
most of the brass in Romania consists of thugs that cannot write, barely can read and some even have problems literally uttering words, not because they have some disability but because they're so poorly educated
suggesting "democracy" to these people is like offering a Nintendo Switch to a donkey, which it cannot use because it has no thumbs
the Romanian dogs have been trained that if they go along with it, put on a "serious" figure that certanly respects the rights of citizens, then they're going to get a pot of money from the European Community for free so they mostly go along with it
as for the base population, it does not care, it would rather sit somewhere in a chair, drink and listen to folk music, so if you end up with a population of slobs, then your voterbase will also be that comprised of slobs, so what are you even expecting to happen "organically" if you establish an organic system?
like if you offer a Romanian a choice freedom, to say, go do their own thing, but also the choice of ruling over others but from time to time to get buttfucked by someone, they'd go for the second option because they don't care about freedoms and they just need to mess with people
it's been like this for half a century here post-communism, it's pretty interesting how trashy this region is

Because fake capitalism hasn't bought welfare for everyone, just for a few.
Even the so-called doctors, engineers and high educated are also left behind, of course people as collective who lived under communism know the living standard were higher.

>Dutch flag
are you the baby of a Romanian whore with a Dutch elderly gentleman?
> fake capitalism hasn't bought welfare for everyone, just for a few.
that's how capitalism is though Bubba, the people that are interested in doing something float up, the ones that are not, float down and there is nothing fake about it
what's fake about it is government overreach that has been "God-modding" Romanian capitalsim and keeping "the right people" on top, most of these right people being former communist stasi members and useful pedophiles
>of course people as collective who lived under communism know the living standard were higher
in the initial phase, for one year or two before Ceausescu decided that he wants zero debt
you didn't even have Coca-Cola, there was nothing to buy in the stores

>natural phenomena
Romania is probably one of the first countries on the planet that has "implicit" UBI aleady implemented and being tested just due to the sheer amount of people involved with state-jobs or jobs that are subventioned by the state
most of Romania's output is similar to that of banana republics with them selling natural resources like wood, by cutting down their forests because Romania does not produce any specific good that can be traced back to Romania (some income due to "Renault Romania" and others, but only part of the capital goes to Romania with the rest going to well, the owners of the companies)
you've got like a bunch of morons here that have 12 kids, drive a luxury car but for some reason if you investigate them you'll find that they have no skills, that their CV was faked completely and that they cannot add two numbers up so the networth does not add up especially in a country with former communism where nobody was allowed to own wealth
so they're either sucking Italian daddy dick that fucks their whole families in order to pay for their upkeep or they're being paid by the Romanian government for fee out of state subsidies
otherwise, I mean, name one Romanian brand I can find, say, in the US... none!

>Russia
I have this vatnik that lives next to our house and he says he works for a large company as one of the top economists
to be fair, I almost gave myself away and was about to ask "when?" because most of the time he's at home or drinking at the bar in the area
so like, when does this guy even actually do any work if he spends all time with leisure? just a question, he's not Bezos so it's not an extreme situation where he can afford staff to take care of business
Russia unironically spends a whole lot of money which is pennies for them to lift up people like this and in exchange ask them to pitch for them and people that they want
very similar to religious sects, of which, Romania has plenty of (this is one big upcoming investigation, it's swarming around here with those)

Commie nostalgia is real in some post-commie countries due to shock from the wave of predatory capitalism and it's practices that came after that.

>predatory capitalism
predatory capitalism favors venture
the only thing that has been predatory have been the security services that armed themselves against the people to ensure that they're the only ones that get financed and to also abuse state power to destroy any competition that was not aligned with the previous communist party >>511014170
obviously the result is exclusively a cronie oligarchy ran by pedophiles and genociders
like what do you expect?
you think anyone that is even remotely upright would agree to have a pedophile as a colleague? on the threat of what? being less of a patriot? haha!

1. it's a car-model
2. it was bought by Romania from Renault before communism
3. it was bought by Renault back from Romania after communism
=> it's French, Jim
(sure, maybe Romanians added some cool plastic mud spoilers before Renault bought it back which they might have just kept, but come on...)
