Turkish authorities have given a general mosquito warning.
DANGEROUS tiger-mosquito on the loose in Alanya region.
It is not native to Turkey, it came from Africa. But right now Turkey is reasonably warm and comfortable for the mosquito.
It spreads dangerous diseases: zika, dengue and chikungunya viruses and yellow fever.
Insecticides are being sprayed around the city.
But it may also kill other insects like some cockroaches.
