Well, at least here. I don't know about how it was where I don't live.
But get a load of this. When women were given the right to vote, it was because to be considered for statehood, you were required to have a certain amount of voters, and most states didn't have enough only men. So whoever came up with this whole Women's rights nonsense just as a way to get what they wanted. Statehood. Something Canada should be thinking about right now.
