I miss 24 hour Walmarts and McDonald's. Hell, we even had a 24 hour Chinese restaurant and laundry mat side by side in the local strip mall owned by the same dude, but he stopped keeping them open all day when covid hit. Could go out ater working 2nd shift and have Chinese takeout, wash my clothes at 3 am when barely anyone was awake in town. Loved the solitude and quiet. Now the only places in town open 24 hours are the speedway gas station down the street and our local waffle house.
