electricians do not make shit. I keep reading shit about needing electricians but most basic electricians make trash. You need to be specialized to make money and you need to join a government mandated mafia (union).

I just need to outlast the AI long enough to save a little bit of money. I want to buy a few acres of land in the middle of nowhere and live in a Teddy K style cabin. Live a quiet, modest life away from people, sourcing as much as I can from the environment and supplementing the rest with an occasional trip into the nearest town for resupply.

I was gonna write a book about this called "post industrial society"
TLDR it would be about how AI will replace most management and "good" jobs. And society will be split into two classes
1)those who control the AI
2)those who slave away doing manual labor
The value of manual labor will decrease since everyone will be forced into that line of work and basically everyone will live in poverty while working construction jobs
