Anyone saying it is lying. I went absolute full retard schizo screaming around my house because I thought there were demons taking control of my duvets and I thought they were going to drag me to hell with them. This isn't healthy. I'm sure some of you guys have had similar experiences, with no other drugs. Help me out here please.

Yeah, I honestly think we're not ourselves anymore when we black out.

The same reason we call alcohol a "spirit," as the seconde anon on this thread points out.

Personally, when I black out, I say horrible things to those around me; I'm not myself anymore.

But it's happened to me too many times.

Glad you got rid of that anon shit; sometimes, unfortunately, you have to get to that point to become aware of this.

it's fucking evil and should be banned. I am "healthmaxxing" 6 days a week now but I can't help but get smashed hard once a week. the only reason I managed to stop drinking everyday is a lot of weed in my vaporizer and unironically taking the /fit/ pill. wich is working surprisingly fine and that lead to me now drinking only once a week because otherwise my abs would disappear in 2 weeks tops.

Yes, in Freudian terms you are shutting down the superego and ego and the Id takes over. Jung would say you basically are removing your conscious ability to contain subconscious impulses. Personally, I think that is the same phenomenon as what the church would call demonic possession, or at least a very similar phenomenon.

Moderation faggot. Moderation. I drank an entire bottle of La Grande Dame while making s'mores with my kids last night and enjoying the fire, and woke up 6 hours later feeling totally fine. IDK what the modern equivalent to White Lightening cidre is, but when I lived in Stoke-on-Trent with cousins for a summer, all those faggots did was face entire 3L bottles of that EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, mixed with an entire 5L box of goonsack. I understand the weather and culture makes you all insufferable and miserable...but drinking to black out every night is counter productive.

You’re blackout drunk by 10pm most nights on godawful gutrot cider and ale, if not worse, accompanied by deep fried pub grub or mystery middle eastern or jeet roasted meats. Are you going to ban yeast, water, basic containers, extremely simple tools, and fruit that's gone a bit off, you idiot? Alcohol production requires near-zero technology. We have gone through that shitshow, it just gives organized crime a vice-grip (pun intended) on the populace, and creates a complete debacle. And then the Feds had to pretend the Mafia, that was running the booze at the time, didn't exist for 20 years because they ran the dockworkers' unions on the East Coast and agreed to keep an eye out for U-boats near the coast and Nazi spies during WW2. The government owed them a favor, only really cracked down on the old-school crime families in the 80's.

This. I just don't touch hard liquor because I always regret it. Wine, beer, mead, cider, sake, whatever else that was fermented, so long as it's not bottom-shelf swill and doesn't cause awful hangovers? I drink for a bit, have fun, and then, if I am home, go the fuck to sleep. Minimal issues, I can cut myself off for a few weeks as needed. Never gotten so drunk around others that it turned into an actual issue. Or blacked out and done anything of consequence even alone, when I was drinking more heavily back in the day.
Getting that drunk was also retarded, not to mention expensive, so I stopped doing it.

Please don't drink anons. When I drank I was a major alcoholic. Luckily the only things I lost was financial wise or personal relationship wise, but think.

When you get drunk enough, your brain convinces you it's a good idea to drive home and voila you wrap your car around a tree.

It gets so bad sometimes especially if you're depressed you'll lose all ability to function as a normal person.

Just don't do it, not worth it. Used to be able to drink, manage job, bills, career. It sneaks up on ya.

Yes, successful people drink, but there's no permanent success if you're an alcoholic.

if you're alcoholic make sure you drink lots of water as well. liqour is better than beer, even though i enjoy drinking beer more. if you're taking in this many fluids and eating less, it could help to swallow pure salt 1 or 2 times a day so you dont lose it all. don't eat too many carbs, eat stuff like eggs, yoghurt, sandwhiches, nuts
stay safe bros

my favorite drunk moment was pouring shredded cheese all over my bed because I was hungry and that was all I had in the fridge and I just emptied the bag on my face

If I am drinking socially, it is around people who would take my keys for that bullshit. They keep me from being stupid, I return the favor, nobody wakes up dead, alcoholic tendencies get noticed and sternly rebuked if they turn into a problem.

Steak, bacon, eggs and kefir is my goto. A bit fucked for your heart but it helps. There is advice to eat sugary stuff to stop drinking but I find that doesn't stop the cravings, only encourage them.

And electrolyte solution is a godsend. The worst of a hangover is caused by dehydration and a lack of electrolytes. It solves both problems in one go - it just isn't a food replacement!

>The things causing ME problems should be banned for everyone!
This is slave morality. Demands that a higher authority ban things due to lack of personal self-control are inherently illegitimate.

I lost all my passion for life when I stopped drinking

I'm just mindless robot who goes to work, goes on 4chan for a few hours and then goes to sleep

I used to do art, go outside exploring and other fun stuff while drunk/high

Did you mean to type LSD? No one does this from alcohol unless they drink a fifth of vodka in 30 seconds.

You might consider drinking less. I've binged on alcohol multiple times because I'm a worthless macaco in shithole land. But it's never worth it, the damage is bigger than what my country might do to me. Drink like 6 beers and smoke weed, drugs for losers, but at least you won't fuck your health that much.
