There is not a lot of troons, matter of fact, the troon drop off in the USA was so bad, the USA government includes, DSD, intersex, crossdressers, drag queens, and femboys as transgender.
The total transgender community is a little under 1 percent, male to female is a quarter of the 1 percent in the transgender community.
It seems they are just feminine men , being feminine by HRT and dress style.

Most children who are feminine, there parents worry about them fitting into society or getting attacked by others to where there is permanent damage.
In the past the only real work for transgender people was sex workers, this being shunned by society.
New age came about, and parents embraced their child was feminine and could fit into society doing normal work. This is what normalized transgenders, that they can function in society, with out mental health issues, being sex workers, and not face religion persecution.
But like anything people took advantage of the child transgender transition, putting money first, making medical mistakes, doing studies that used false data, and milked government funding. So government had to act and ban child transgender care illegal.
