It's like how inflation isn't ever thought of as corporations rising prices to increase profits and profits are hardly thought about as going to CEO payouts and investor dividends or being gamed by private equity firms. Instead inflation is seen as exclusively tied to money printing and profit is thought of as something that keeps the lights on. Corporations become blameless. It gets even funnier when most people realize there's an issue with money in politics, but the idea that billionaire influence shapes government doesn't really sink in, it isn't applied to the larger thinking of these issues. Unless that billionaires is Soros who has a networth of just $7 billion and Fox News can go all day about how he's the real bad guy. Why does Fox News want you to think that?
