Speech therapy, behavioral therapy, special meals, group therapy, immersion therapy etc. on top of that the private sector gets their fingers in there. Private tutors and therapists multiple times a week all charge insurance. It goes deep and adds up to hundreds of thousands of dollars per year per child.
T. Grandma was a lifelong special ed teacher and my cousins are severely autistic.
