So I stumbled upon a holocaust museum in a totally bumfuck random place. I didn't think those actually existed I thought it was a meme. But I went. It was basically in some guys duplex in the part he didn't live in. Was a really old dude who was in the holocaust as a kid. Both his parents died and he was in an orphanage after the war and then adopted by Orthodox jews in NY but lef the community when he married a Christian girl had a pretty crazy life story.

So the museum was sort of his passion project to honor his parents. It was just run by him and his grand daughter (she was bad tho she's my age (25) and hot as a fox...) and he said that some college history students help and learn about archiving and shit like that.

I didn't go full /pol/ or anything I actually really enjoyed talking to him. It was basically his passion project and we even played chess randomly. I'll probably go back just to hang out desu and some of the info was pretty cool. He had some artifacts too. Obviously not a big collection but it was worth the visit I'd say.
