From my experience walking with purpose at pace is more intimidating than slow walking. It depends what you look like of course. If you're 5'8 and under 200lb, nobody is going to notice you whatever speed you walk.

I’ve used a treadmill since I was in middle school, my walking is as faster than some peoples jogging. When I’m out I’m just trying to get what I need and go it’s not my fault people like walking in slow motion
