The US military pushed back strong on Iran War plans when GWB was President and we were much stronger, with bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran is very dangerous and can target all US assets in the region, if Trump's attacks were real and uncoordinated then he took an enormous risk and is extremely lucky it didn't escalate.
