The government will, of course, attempt to squirm it's way out of it as much as possible and only concede the absolute bare minimum to prevent this from happening, but their freedom of action to completely defy the electorate is not zero. If it were they would have long since simply banned AfD, SD, RN, etc. rather than pussyfooting around it
