This is the dumbest thing I've heard in my life. DHT is literally the most potent naturally occurring androgen, for one. Two, it's absolutely NECESSARY for secondary male sexual characteristics.

This is LITERALLY why they give finasteride to "transgirls" during puberty. In a male, all you have to do is block DHT and you've effectively "blocked" puberty from occuring. This has massive downsides including: stunted penis growth, retention of prepubescent voice, lack of muscle mass, lack of shoulder width, lack of facial hair, lack of body hair, etc etc etc.

Now, EVEN as old as 25-28 you don't want to block DHT too much because certain features are still maturing such as beard growth. I'm a pharmafag and I take finasteride but I'm 37 and take it once every 4 days because this is all you need to maintain your existing hairline, in most men. Never take finasteride daily, unless of course, you have BPH.
