This is why my company is extremely selective with Gen Z. They're almost always a major liability, not necessarily because they can't do the work, but because they are highly likely to cause HR issues.

I watched in horror when a Gen Z guy we hired tell a woman in a different department that she looked just like a famous pornstar he enjoyed. He was so socially unaware that he added "she's in the MILF category".

Not all of them are like this but it seems like the cutoff is like 110IQ, everything under that is a lost cause IME. Or if they're brown. Even the "talented tenth" that are semi-competent are still major social liabilities, but the DEI-focused HR handwaves their sexist or otherwise inappropriate comments away.

I've not actually considered leaving the West until I took this position and extrapolated out the next 20-30 years. A game like Cyberpunk 2077 or movie like BladeRunner 2049 seem OPTIMISTIC.
