Not quite. In videos where he talked about his dead mom, he talked about how relieved he was that she died. His mom would scream at night, and he would have to go to her room to check up on her. Given that he used to do 12-24 hour streams in the past, this fucked with him physically/mentally, since he was sleep deprived.

When she died, he talked about having nightmares where he would wake up randomly, hearing his mom screaming, then realized she was dead, and sleep as well as a baby.

Subconsciously, he probably did try to kill his mother by buying her cigarettes and letting her smoke near her oxygen tank. He even weaseled his way with words, saying that "I didn't kill her when she set herself on fire", because she died days later in the hospital (from the burns on her body). It's like you stabbing somebody to death, but saying "hey, I didn't kill them, they bled to death an hour later".
