The main issue with Millennial childhood was the generational gap. There was nothing to learn from Gen X or Boomers; they don't know new media/computers/internet/mobiles. Instead they tried to make us do sports. Told us stupid fantasy stories totally out of touch with reality since they were clueless cattle.

Especially older Millennials often had shit parents who did nothing to actually advance their children's lives, since they were utterly out of touch with the world and recent developments.
There's also the equality bullshit. Millennials may be the first generation earnestly raised with the idea that men and women are equal and should be treated as such.
