As "hustler mentality" as it sounds, you still want an edge over everyone you're competing with and that usually starts with passion. Meaning it makes more sense now to study or learn something where you'll be exceptional because you love to do it, instead of going for formerly future-proof stuff like CS.
Alternatively, people will always be sick and pick a White doctor over a nigger if they're not completely brainwashed.

Am early zoomer - 27. Childhood was awesome overall. Got to experience a lot of technological advancements as they happened. Grew up in rural isolated southern Appalachia mountain area so never had to be around niggers. Been with the same girl that took my virginity way back in 8th grade.

Might sound like a boring, shitty hillbilly life to city dwellers, but there's almost nothing I'd ever change about it.

>At least we had a good childhood
It was mediocre. Not great, not terrible.
The main issue with Millennial childhood was the generational gap. There was nothing to learn from Gen X or Boomers; they don't know new media/computers/internet/mobiles. Instead they tried to make us do sports. Told us stupid fantasy stories totally out of touch with reality since they were clueless cattle.
>The Jetsons is going to become real any second now
Not a coincidence this originally ran during boomer childhood - and then ran again during Millennial childhood.
Especially older Millennials often had shit parents who did nothing to actually advance their children's lives, since they were utterly out of touch with the world and recent developments.
There's also the equality bullshit. Millennials may be the first generation earnestly raised with the idea that men and women are equal and should be treated as such.
>boom, birth rates 0.00

The elite in USA and other western nations have off-shored any job they can. White collar and blue collar. Cost-cutting that results in higher profit margins, which ties to the stock market for many of these businesses. Its a temporary fix as poverty in USA widens

You have to be somewhat retarded if it takes you a 4+ years to get good enough at anything to be employable, and therefore just for the fact you chose to have wasted those 4+ years you'd be unemployable to many companies

Takes like 6 months to learn any engineering field at a junior level if you're not an idiot and understand basic math

Takes like a year to become a proficient programmer

Takes like 3 months of studying to get decent at any manual job like plumbing or basic construction

Only exceptions are law and medicine because the fields are literally degree required/protected, but even those won't be for long because AI can already solve and answer most legal issues and tech/machinery can handle most surgeries

the moment something hits the mainstream, you can consider it dead.
degrees became a fucking meme when everyone who could barely write their name decided they want to go to university.
you generally want to pick an option that the normalfag crowd is not yet aware of, because they WILL completely ruin it the moment they catch wind of it.
that applies to everything. they are like a social/economic locust swarm.

It's worse for zoomers but it still sucked for me too. I graduated a few years after 2008 and I had to work retail and a few other non-degree-related shit jobs for several years after getting out of college. It was soul crushing and I couldn't have made it if my parents didn't let me live with them during that time in exchange for paying for a few bills.
