Probably another few millennia. If I imagine the future, all I see is Chinks in my mind. Europeans? Americans? Oh yeah, they used to roam about a few thousand years ago. A branch of humanity that exterminated itself. A little hurdle, a blemish, on the empire of heaven.

So let's take it at face value, China is on the verge of collapse. Now what? They're all Han Chinese. It's not like they'll splinter off into little tribes of people, killing each other with 3d printer scraps and textile machines. The CCP dies, the infrastructure is already there and working, and there is a bit of a stumble. Now what?

the CPC is various factions already who have presented under a united front since the war. there would be political power moves funded by billionaires but there would be very little civil unrest of any meaningful size, just random local grievances. as long as the economy remained functioning and people had their jobs.
the chinese constitution has the CPC as the party of power and the other minor parties have a more or less fixed % of the share in the government, so it would just be a battle of the CPC or there would need to be martial law by the army until a new constitution could be written for whatever future form of parliament and government would occur.
the CPC failing to exist or failing to operate properly would necessitate a new constitution as no one has any authority if the CPC doesn't exist, so it would just be behind doors purges against minor factions and lots of arrests for corruption against slow movers. no one knows who would end up with the power.

such an event like the collapse of the CPC would put Xi in total charge as he is the head of the armed forces and also ceremonial president so taking away his CPC power would still leave him with military power to keep control.

From your article
>Xi's high-profile crackdown on corrupt generals appointed by his two predecessors significantly helped Xi concentrate political power.
Do you not know that the paramount leader of China is almost always
>chairman of the CMC
>general secretary of the party
>president of the Chinese state
The only thing that really matters is the CMC, Deng was considered paramount leader without being in charge of the party or president simply because he chaired the CMC.

China has some serious problems.
Flooding is one. Their cities are all sinking
Infrastructure is crumbling
groundwater is all contaminated.
rivers and dams are silted up.
and much more.
It looks like their plan is to redirect water from the Himalayas into the desert regions of china to make them habitable.

No. but what you write is to my question given this:

>With this, some observers have speculated that Zhang is now in charge of the CCP’s military and that he stripped Xi’s power last year.

As an outside observer the net trajectory of China under Xi has not been positive.

Things do happen, but usually locally. Imagine being an Ukrainian. Or an Iranian just a month ago.
The China collapse stuff however is just obviously cheap propaganda and sensational content filled with lies. Turns out there are a lot of people who get off fantasizing about other countries collapsing to feel they have it good. Whites are slaves being racially replaced as we speak in most places besides perhaps eastern Europe somewhat. The only rational thing for a Euro or American to do is a revolution, but we keep sitting on our asses while the cost of living soars and govts keep dropping in immigrants who feed off welfare. Let's keep going lol, violence is bad m'kay. Nothing ever happens until it happens to you, but by then it's too late to do anything about it. Chuddha shit is just solipsism.

Yep. They got away with Tiananmen Square Massacre before. These weekly arsons aren't as bad. And the Chinese people aren't capable of any forms of revolutions in the first place. They've been morally ruined since Mao and would prefer to steal from each other than overthrow the elites.

You won't know -- they'll just cover up the real toll as they did Sichuan in 2008. Albeit, Xi is apparently on his way out (ill health or soft coup), which could be a bigger shift than an economic collapse that the peasant class will break the fall of.
