>>511122769nah for money crimes like that the min. sentence should always be money value stolen / 2/3rds of average income = years. so for him around 32k so a minimum sentence of 18,750 YEARS. If you give him 20 years for stealing 600M thats 30M per year in jail. Well worth it. If you reduce it to McDonalds Salary level you tell a criminal that he will never make more than min wage for stealing millions.
But ultimately he should just get shot. He is facing 14--17 yrs according to the article btw and with all the money that is not recoverable anymore and lost to family, friends, secret places it was well worth it. Probably still goes out with high 8 or 9 figures after hes out.
