The insane thing about the social security ponzi scheme... is that the entire reasoning is that you should be able to spend money now, travel, don't prepare for the future, and STILL get the benefits as if you have had saved money. And somehow no one thought math might not add up.

Yes, it worked because population used to grow exponentially. So the debt generated by one generation was drowned by brute expansion of economy based purely on population growth.

That means if you spent x4 money as you should, by the time you're old, population had grown x4 or more... so the debt generated by your debauchery would be covered by the next generation.

Make no mistake... they don't give a fuck about family values. The ONLY way to sustain government debauchery, is to spread debt over the course of 30, 40 or 50 years..... and the bet is that in 50 years, the population will grow so much, the debt is drowned by economic expansion.... like if in 50 years economy grows 5 times as big, debt from 50 years will be much smaller proportionally. That's the entire thing.
