Lets say hypothetically we find another planet that can host life
>picrel
All nations come to an agreement that it's time to colonize and we send a interstellar ship with people from all (or most) nations. How would the planet get divided fairly? what lessons would they learn from Earth that could be applicable? for example, implementing large ecological zones. Would they do a gambling system where areas are allocated at random so there is no fight over sub-surface resources

We must find our own planet each. Every nation will have one. This includes subdivisions of Celts. All of which will live close to each other and expand with each other. Why? Because it's better that way. You can have quadrants. Then one for the Russians, Wops and Chinese, Blacks, Mongols, Arabs, Indians both dot and feather and all their subdivisions. We drop an education holodeck with all the settlers, wish them luck and hope to God they don't all die. Finally we eatablish a particularly large world somewhere in the middle of all these and it will act as the trading center. In the extremities outside these planets put the casinos.

Also, war is a given. We must create a sector of galaxy dedicated to more and more extreme extreme wars. In this sector, effectively establishing a PVP zone, including massive servers for simulations of war. Which will ironically be the safest zone in many way because past a certain point a monster Ai will probably come to dominate it. Trust me. I've done this before. Any less than this and we all die horribly in a mass conflict. Trust me. I ran the simulations. Of course there will be outliers but if we stick to the plan it should stop most of the things from going wrong.

I know. But I think we already have enough resources here on earth. It's just that some people are too greedy. That's why you see billionaires own an insane amount of real estate in places like New York but never go there and others have to live in some basement to make ends meet.

This also goes for food that is still good but gets thrown away, etc.

You would think so, but actually the most important key to this is eternal life. Without a perfect building block, you'll have an imperfect building. Jot this down. Spread it far and thin, then build it deep. Lots of them. Globally.

>Make sure you can see the machine working on smaller mammals and such in prototypes.
My pet rat pibbles screamed for three fucking hours after a rejuvenation, and the animals that came before him were not able to save their memories the first few tries. So it's extremely fucking painful, but if it's perfected, you should see it work right. The amniotic fluid can also be doped with pain killers. Make sure you see the rat be able to perform a memory trick or puzzle solve in its old age before rejuvenating. If it worked the rat should be able to remember the trick.

Healer Suite:
>Life Extension Lvl 100:
>(glitch, may be patched out):
"To rejuvenate and HEAL MOST ANY ILLNESS OR DAMAGE. Combine the capabilities of a Turritopsis Dohrnii Jellyfish and any Moth or Butterfly. The butterfly has the blueprint for how to transfer memory between biological states, and the jellyfish can restore your bodies youth." Alternatively just fill in the damaged tissue with stem cells, or reopen scar tissue with an abrasive material and float in an incubator.
(Ask an Ai for the exact methodology):https://beta.character.ai/

Incubator Level 15:
https://youtu.be/LWpsJIFbdIo

The Level 100 "Spell" can be combined with CRISPr during a rejuvenation process to effectively transform the body into any genetically spliced shape with memories intact if done correctly. Man into woman. Woman into man. Cat into dog. Etc.

You'd think so but it's actually mass related. Which means some planets aren't dense but are large. Thus you can have lots of volume but little gravity, we just have to find one that isn't as dense.

Life on a planet like that would suck. Even if there was a solid surface "habitable zones" around non main sequence stars means very different things. Unless it had an absolutely insane magnetosphere which seems quite unlikely as the gravity is only slightly higher despite size meaning a lack of heavier elements then the radiation would be intense. Plus even a slight increase in gravity would fucking suck. 24% increase doesn't sound like much since it's well within the difference in weight possible between a fat fuck and a healthy person but this isn't just having more weight on your body. It's strain on every single tissue equally at all times and would be miserable even in good shape especially when you first arrive. It would cause health problems, it make your heart work harder at all times to circulate blood, falls would be more dangerous, and god forbid you get sick and are having respiratory issues. The only "fair" divide is punishment for the worst criminals who are repeatedly in and out of prison for their whole loves or servicing life sentences for particularly heinous crimes and it's questionable if they, not being functional members of society, would ever be capable of setting up permanent habitation. Oh, and 24% increase in gravity also means escaping the gravity well is also much harder.

Fun idea.
I'd strictly divide the planet geographically, among the 5 major races, even longitudinal lines. This assumes each sector will have roughly equal amounts of water, land, resources, and temperature variance. From north to south poles, each race gets strictly equal amounts of the planet to work with:

Caucasian (Europe, North America, Australia) - Light to olive skin, various hair and eye colors
Amerindian (Americas) - Light brown to red-brown skin, straight black hair, high cheekbones
Mongoloid (Asia, the Arctic, the Americas) - Yellow to brown skin, straight black hair, epicanthic eye fold
Negroid (Africa, Americas, Caribbean) - Dark skin, coiled hair, wide noses
Australoid (Australia, New Guinea, South Asia) - Dark brown to black skin, wavy to curly hair

Sectors will adhere to strict travel and immigration rules, and statistics around the topic will be heavily monitored and enforced. Races are allowed to be freely proud of who they are and stick to their own kind, while not being totally cut off from one another.

Every year, there will be an Olympics style conference to primarily determine who's enhancing the planet and who's fucking up the planet the most. Criteria for this will be strictly mathematical and unbound by emotion, straight-up Vulcan. This prevents any "oy vey logic" when it comes to settlement and population replacement. It will also prove whether or not race is directly tied to progress and historical skeletons (no race guilt or centuries-old slavery arguments). Haven't figured out what happens to the winners, losers, and in betweeners of this conference. Don't wanna award planet rulership, and don't want to genocide people without a chance to improve.

Alternatively, implement some G Gundam style tournament with racist-looking mobile suits to decide who's da best.

Today's "humanity" is barely capable of organizing it's own state. Today's governments wouldn't be able to repeat the colonization of America, cause they would just make 10000 of bureaus ensuring equity, diversity, controlability and other shit, every ship would have 20% glowniggers, 30 informants 15 informants of informants 15 gen z bosses in mini 15 niggers (not slaves but for diversity who will live on welfare) and the rest would be timmies who'd be supposed to build everything and protect everyone from injuns (but without harming them else it would be genocide). They would land and get thrown into the oceans by cherokees the next day.
It case of space colonization it would follow the same scheme, so the ship won't even make it out of the solar system and if it does, it will come into disrepair mid-journey and fall apart in some freak accident, a chimp out or someone going postal.

Even a 'livable' planet would still be immensely dangerous for us to settle on and it would take generations before we could so much as farm there outside of hydroponics. Soil isn't naturally occurring, soil is the result of hundreds of millions of years of processing by microbial life. You can't just plant a tree in space dirt, it would fail to germinate. We would need to MANUALLY process space dirt into fertile soil in an accelerated process before we could grow anything we recognize in it. On top of that, any native space microbes will either not interact with our biology at all, or will kill us and our immune system will be powerless to stop it, with very little middle ground.

All of this is to say: settling another planet is going to be HARD. Even if the atmosphere is compatible, the ecosystem is going to be a real hurdle to clear. You can't just land your ship and pick a direction and walk and set up camp likes its the american frontier.
You won't be splitting up to make your own ethnostates. You will all be crammed into one giant arcology structure together, for hundreds of years. By the time that the colony is successful enough to branch out, you will have already interbred so heavily that whatever race or nationality your ancestors were on Earth is now completely irrelevant.

if you find the perfect planet thats exactly what you could probably do. there might be a whole eco system in place which will attack and kill your earth-sourced plants and seeds etc, but then again, there might be stuff already there that can be used. its all a fun thought experiment anyway because its not happening any time soon, if ever.

You are still thinking in terms of earth based ecosystem threats with terms like 'attack'.

The danger of an alien ecosystem isn't that a space dinosaur will kill your cows. Its that some local microbial algae that likes to grow in warm water will see the human body as nothing but warm, nutrient rich water. You drink a little bit of it, or some gets in your eye, and then it just starts spreading through your vital fluids and nothing in your natural immune system has any idea what this alien gunk is and is powerless to stop it until your heart stops because of the clots of alien algae in your veins.

Its in all the water. Its been in this planet's water for billions of years. All of the local life is adapted against it, but we are not. The fact that the world has breathable atmosphere is a trap, because that tricks us into thinking its safe to take off the space suits. It is not.

no, thats was exactly what i was thinking of, hence the reason i didn't mention space dinos, although that could be a possibility. i said 'eco system', which includes everything you're talking about.
im not sure it would be a trap because what you're talking about is a fairly obvious risk when entering an alien environment. If you remember, they had the astronauts quarantined for weeks even after coming back from the moon, until a huge amount of testing was done to be certain that there was no chance of biological contamination. they took that possibility very seriously and expended a lot of effort (and discomfort) making sure.

>How would the planet get divided fairly?
it wouldn't. Anglos would virtue signal their nogs, pakis and liberated women onto there in cooperation with the shartmarts, give the chinks and russians some coping grounds, while they're busy setting up a system to benefit the muttening (with loicenses). the jews oversee all this from the prime part of new planet
>what lessons would they learn from Earth that could be applicable?
exploit, put a money sign on everything you see, make sure to lawyer up, make human resources as replaceable as possible
> for example, implementing large ecological zones.
lmao
> Would they do a gambling system where areas are allocated at random so there is no fight over sub-surface resources
they would, but it would be rigged in favour of the jews and elite

The only way this could work is if there were only genetic Europeans allowed. So no mitted up new workers, no angloids, no jews, and of course no shitskins (unless they are sent to work a d remain in tightly guarded containment areas)

That would entirely depend on what nations are hosting the mission to colonise the new planet. But realistically speaking if our past is any indication:
After ~100 years the new planet will form their own cultural identity and rebel against Earth/ demand independance just like the Americans did.
There was only an ocean between the continents, if there's several million lightyears or whatever then cultural ties to the original counries will quickly sever.
Ideally the people in charge are smart enough to forsee this and just found one or more new nations on the new planet.
