>>511171783you are right, but
>The burden is on Macron to show there was actual malice in reporting Macron is a troon.even for journalism, this is bad journalism and bad reporting and nothing more than an "opinion piece", if you want to consider Candace Owens a "reporter" as you said
that is also skipping over the fact that Macron's wife has been called all the former by everyone else before Candace Owens shared her opinions so there's even a lack of orginality of the opnions in the first place
it makes questionable what her own actual contribution as a "reporter" to this case might be otherwise she's just what people would call a mega-grifter
and to be fair Candace Owens has not provided any documents or anything concrete to the matter so if it turns out that what she's claiming is false, then that makes it horrible reporting by just re-dispatching already existing news
let alone, maybe, who knows what political opponent might have come up with "Macron's wife is a guy", so she'd be falling right into someone's pysop and disinformation campaign
>the lawsure, 100% but also keep in mind that the law simply cannot cover everything, so you'll end up with cases of bad practice that are not necessrily legal offenses but expose someone as a bad professional
I liked Alex Johnes, or the idea thereof because he was a great showman, and as a showman he really had his own very typical and distinguishable brand-style, but there was always an air of "sincerity" where it was clear even if subconsiously that you should see it as a "show" and not a source of real information
very similar to WWF wrestling! great show! the onus is on you if you take it literally, lol
