Texan Republicans can do as much racial gerrymandering as they want post-Shelby County v. Holder (2013)

Yeah, actually, "Gerrymandering" is a good thing.
>create a district where 51% of the population is satisfied with their representation
or
>create a district where 90% of the population is satisfied with their representation
People who argue against Gerrymandering don't understand that people don't settle in nice neat grid-like patterns. Communities will grow in weird ways, and it is best to try to group constituents with similar interests. Geography also plays a role, where it is also a consideration to include people that share a water supply, for example.
Gerrymandering is literally the IQ bell curve meme where the lowest and highest IQ realize it's a good thing, and all the midwits think Gerrymanders is le ebil.
