Red hot fragments from explosion sets fire to the filling in hand grenades and mines. What you see is high explosives burning. I dont know what they use as filling, I think they use hexogen, but it burns very well and easily too.

I think it was a second drone that hit him, but maybe it was ammo in the backpack detonating. Point is that it burned for a long time first.

They seem to fire bigger stuff at larger groups then pick off individuals that survived with these little drones. Why do they always lay or run over open ground though, gives drones a clean run at you
