Okay, so while America was kind of pro-German pre-WW2 with many industrial and financial ties, the British essentially signed off their Empire and Thalassocracy to the United States after the Fall of France.
Now, at this point clearly Jews weren't in power yet in the US. My question is: When did they get in power -- In the 60s?
The 50s and most of the 60s were actually still a pretty good time for the US and international relations had almost entirely recovered by that point in the West. Especially because with the Cold War NATO had bigger fish to fry.
Neither Erinnerungskultur nor white guilt were really a thing back then. Movies were produced by people of all ethnicities and WASPs still largely controlled New York finance.
