They aren't even in the top 20 being it's based on deaths per 100,000... The whole cops have the most dangerous job in the world is a meme for police unions to justify massive budget grabs and the ever increasing militarization of the police. It's all BS. Sure you deal with shitty people all day but that's about it.
It's how you end up with crap like the Uvalde police using 40% of the city's budget to stand around during a school shooting.
