It's basically a "hey why does this space exist and how did it come about?" kinda thing that allows Meow Wolf to play with the story parts of their art. You can completely ignore them and just run around to look at the cool art of you want.
Denver:
4 separate women across multiple dimensions become interlinked as their realities start bleeding and blending together. The only two i remember is the crystal one, who had some kind of a dying race story going on and the black Hispanic physicist pushed out due to sexism getting a job driving a bus which leads to the portal opening up in Denver.
Santa Fe:
This one honestly felt like they had a story before the exhibit idea, especially with how much is set in California dispite the exhibit beingin New Mexico. Basically ot follows a fanily and their technological/natural ability to use sound vibrations to rewrite the universe. A guy uses this to make a cult where he sells opportunities to go to his multi dimensional resorts. Obviously someone tries to regulate that, everything falls apart, i think they accidently made the universe in a time loop, and now the house is permanently fucked in that it's stitched together with the rest of the universe wrong.
