Other nations will either fully adapt everything and try to become as powerful as the guy big nation did, or at least adapt the crucial parts and give it their spin to it.

1. We're not that strong, we're just stronger than everyone else.
2. We don't need to do that to achieve our goals.
3. Frankly the rest of the world isn't worth it.
4. We kinda already do. Everything outside of North Korea, China, Russia, and Iran exist in an international order we set up for our benefit (because it's been good for most people around the world).
