That precedent needs to be set, and it needs to be popular. We can't have the man who was doing that vilified as super rapist pedo hitler. The guy is 80 years old, he's giving us this with his last breaths of life. Whatever happened with Epstein is meaningless at this point.
What we need to get next is an unravelling of the benefits structure they're using to subsidize their existence. The most powerful thing probably would simply be enforcing minimum wage laws on them, you'd see a mass exodus.
Fixing birthrates is another huge priority and Republicans are helping us with manufacturing jobs and middle class tax relief. It's all a negotiation, you don't get that for free, so you have to give corporate tax cuts to get the bill through.
What I see from Nick is the same petty attitude I'm seeing in a lot of jaded right wingers. They become butthurt, go anti, and turn into vicious backbiting weevils. Look at what TRS became, or any of them.
The left attacks Trump enough believe me. It might sound good to gnash your teeth to pry concessions out of him, but they're spilling all the marbles and going all in on this. You're pulling the pin on the grenade and blowing up the room, you don't need to do that. That's not how anyone gets concessions in politics, they play a longer pressure game and they get what they want.
As a metaphor, it would be like if the neocons went all in on Bush to force an Iran war. They didn't do that, they played a longer game, and got what they wanted in the end.
