I sometimes wonder why I didn't stay NEET as I have been at various points in my life. Why did I bother trying? I'm not any better off than I was.

I was estranged from my dad for 20 years but then he got really sick and his church found me and I had to move in with him to take care of him. It's honestly made my life better but there's no chance in hell I'm going to be able to get a girlfriend before he dies.
