>Make a coin-clipper CEO of your firearm manufacturer >He makes the lowest bid in your armed forces pistol requisition competition >pistol is a defective piece of shit >"why would gun do this?"
They should have gone with Glock, a tried and tested design that many other nations and organizations use and have used for a long time. They tried to fix something that wasn't broke, took the lowest bidder, and got what they paid for.
Also, pro tip: when you are handling a loaded gun, don't ever point it at your own chest, or anything you are unwilling to send a bullet through. This is gun safety rule #2: never point point a weapon you do not intend to shoot.
Guns aren't safe and that makes chuds seethe. No amount of "muh responsible gun owner" will fix guns that shoot people on their own. The right has no response to this.
>>511200174 I believe the P365 had a lot of problems too, when it was first released, in terms of quality control issues. Dudes have posted pictures of P320 fire control groups with parts that say "Made in India", so that gives you an idea of the direction that Sig USA has gone.
Important to note that SIG USA is not the same thing as the old Swiss SIG that had a great reputation with the P226 and older designs. Not the same company.
>safe gun huh? they are designed to kill people, what do you expect?

>>511198534 (OP) >The standard-issue sidearm, a military variant of the SIG Sauer P320, allegedly discharged while holstered, striking the Airman in the chest without any physical manipulation of the trigger. how does that happen
>>511200387 kinda makes sense, they were able to outbid glock and other companies because they're selling cheap crap and cutting corners like every boomer owned hollowed out company that was once great. It got worse during covid, I swear every company used that as an excuse to cut quality control on their products.
>>511200611 He took the "holstered" gun off his hip. Then get this. He turns in 180 degrees so the barrel is pointed at his chest, and it slips from his hand. On trying to grab it his finger hits the trigger and he shoots his own heart.
You will notice a trend with 100% of these P320 lawsuits--someone is ALWAYS fucking with the gun. It literally never "just happens."
>>511200174 No. There's an entire subset of memes about siggers getting excited when the company releases the MPX gen 3.55994 (this one doesn't explode out of battery but it does have a 200 round barrel life) and then getting excited for the next incremental bugfix ($1700) slated to come out. Sig has been dead for a long, long time.
>>511201691 Oh I see. Honestly it sounds like one of those gun cleaning "accidents" where everyone knows what really happened but they can't say because then the family gets less money or whatever.

>>511200611 Sigs are infamous for being defective pieces of shit that will go off if you so much as breathe on them too hard.
>>511200174 My p365 came with a shattered firing pin from the factory. SIG is overpriced boomer shit. It has a large aftermarket for the tacticool LARPiggers so that probably keeps it afloat. Honestly agter going through that phase myself I prefer simple and reliable. The S&W Shield line of pistols have rave reviews.
>>511203225 appendix carry with anything other than a revolver is simply natural selection. Many hoodrats have blown their dicks off over the years. I appendix carry a Ruger Sp101 every day. The hammer is down and the cylinder cannot rotate so not even an accidental trigger press can cause me to blow my pecker off.
>>511198534 (OP) How would a "defective" gun even kill someone? If the gun hypothetically exploded in his hands that wouldn't kill him. Was he playing around and pointing at his fucking head or something?
>>511204272 These models (P320) have been known to discharge uncommanded. No trigger pull. They just go off. Also the CEO of Sig Saur is a Jew and ruined a prior gun company (Kimber). Many such cases.
