I work in a kindergarten. It's not certain he was fired its normal to change your working place often in this job. Sometimes it's even required. For example in an apprenticeship or the company needs more people at another one of their daycares. Also since there is a lack of workers u can pretty much choose where to work, especially as a man, since the job is so woman dominated man are valued more.

Why can't men work with children ? It's a fun job with much variety and good working conditions, due to various reforms it now also has very high pay and career prospects (in my country), that's why i do it. Pedophiles have also been found in schools so there should be no more male teachers ? What about various women that abuse children and work in daycare ? Children also benefit from having a male rolemodel around them.
