1990s and 2000s narrative: don't have children, we're overpopulated, we need to reduce the population, georgia guidestones, idiocracy
2010s and even more so 2020s narrative: we need more people, we must import foreigners, the climate is changing (ignore any and all other environmental issues), why didn't you have children, muh holy gdp, georgia guidestones destroyed now, Indians are all geniuses trust me bro we're not degenerating as a society by bringing them in
Why did the entire media completely switch up the narrative focus? Anyone else remember the focus on environmental concerns and remember falling for the don't reproduce thing so we can make our country better by finally letting population decrease? Anyone else also feel really betrayed that after doing the right thing the government then decides to just trash the environment and make all the problems we were finally solving a thousand times worse by flooding us with Indians?
