The Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Zakharova, in a recent press conference, slammed the U.S. for threatening to impose additional tariffs on countries that support the “anti-U.S. policy” of BRICS.
Under the pretext of protecting its self-proclaimed fair competition and national security, the U.S. is attempting to put political pressure on the countries in question using illegal sanctions and tariffs as tools of economy and trade, she said.
