You know, this entire situation could be avoided if ussr (or russia in 1991) was allowed to join nato

Yes, but you would have never gone through the anti-corruption process and therefore just infected our systems and economies with your cancer.
Just look at how terrible your de-communize efforts were in the 90s. Straight into oligarchs run economy full of corruption and political graft.

Getting rid of Putin and losing the Ukraine war, then turning against China, would be a step towards joining NATO as well, but that discussion is for another time.

It wouldnt have changed anything, even if Russia was in nato, that wouldnt have stopped the US from couping and militarising Ukraine in preparation for a war. At the end of the day, joining nato means you have to agree to have US bases on your territory and become a US vassal.

Russian corruption is at another level. The serb should understand balkan corrupt is different from northern European corruption. It can get so much worse, but you dont want to admit it because you kneejerk hate everything western European.

what you call "russian corruption" is the cause of western advisors forcing to privatize everything instantly so international companies could be buying shit for cheap in destroyed economies.

well at least you wouldn't have had to worry about article 5 when russia attacked nato allies then seeing as current nato don't seem to invoke it when nato members attack other nato member

>anti-corruption process
There is no anti-corruption process in NATO. It's literally just "Are you willing to cede your military autonomy to the USA?" and you answering "Yes". Just read the NATO articles, it's not many.

The main reason why russia would never be admitted into NATO is that russia by itself has enough autonomy and power that they could latently cause NATO to become multi-polar where members could play favorites against USA's master control scheme. All this "europe going its own way" is just cope for them being forced to rearm while the USA still owns them under Trump.
