It once was, but there is a cultural divide between southern culture and Appalachian culture. Virginia has too many issues right now with its own heavy cultural divide (of northern aggression) from DC spill over. Its currently struggling to hold the line past richmond, and may balkanize over its imbalance of DC area imports (a bagillion brown imports with no understanding of America in less than 1 generation) and its native southern culture that really is only present in the southern portion of VA still. Lumping in WV, to it may break the state apart. Maybe thats a good thing? WV + VA with the caveat northern DC area becomes its own state?

The problem with MD (besides the jews) is most states imposed some sort of political balance between their major cities and rural areas. MD tittered way past the tipping point years ago, due to DC area, which its 98% blue politics plus baltimore (also 90%+ blue) all consumed the states direction, with the real MD areas of eastern shore and panhandle WV portions becoming utterly over run. That northwestern panhandle is completely siezed by lgbtq leftist and used as a dumping ground for homeless drug addicts (product of baltimore). Eastern shore is having their mass improrts of browns dumped into, and DC area is caked with a medly of browns its unrecognizable from 20 years ago.
