Its safer with so many retards on the road. Driving standards have declined hugely in the last 20 years

I just swapped my Audi A6 for an Ford F-250

It’s just superior in every way. If you can afford the gas, which most people in the market for a sedan would be able to easily, then there are a ton of things a truck or an SUV can do which a sedan can’t do. Just objectively speaking the F150 is the single most capable vehicle ever produced and there’s no reason not to own one if you can afford it.

Aren't SUVs just an American thing because they can evade fuel economy rules for sedans ?

I leased a few TLs back between 2005-2010, they were fun cars, but scraped the fucking ground all the time as they made those things so goddamned low.

My wife drives like a distracted moron, got our insurance raised and got 2 speeding tickets the past 3 years....my take is that she and the kids are safer if she crashes or gets crashed into.

She has a heavy anti rollover SUV, I have a truck. I'd rather kill someone than be killed, same with my family, insurance covers the rest

Cars is such a weird product at this point in time. It seems like our economy is kept afloat w\ various "ghost cities" type endeavors. We have enough cars to last us decades probably.
