Grow food or die.
That sounds extreme but for a lot of you it's 100% the case. Food prices are already crazy and will only get worse once your country has to send a fuckton of its calories to fighting a war.
Farm land gets destroyed.
Farm hands get killed.
Supply lines get cut.

If you want to give yourself a chance of surviving, invest in some perennials right now. They take a few years to get established, so you can't wait until you're starving to plant them.

I'm not going to invest in plants.
I'm going to travel the world in search of castles and prostitutes.

I'm growing as much as I can in the limited space I have.
So far I've got grapes, kiwiberry, haskap, aronia, raspberry, strawberry, currants, jostaberry, saskatoons, wintergreen and a bunch of herbs/fruits/veggies in raised beds.

French royalty would surround their castles with strawberries.

Do you have a South facing window? If you do, you can grow things indoors easily. You get surprisingly large harvests from potted trees.

This is my first year growing a squash variety called tromboncino and so far I've had over a dozen 3 foot long squashes to eat with more coming all from one plant. Vine borers attacked it but it has been barely affected by it. Definitely an apocalypse crop.

I'm a loser faggot that couldn't work anymore due to cancer and other shit. I live really comfy on the pension, but home prices in Australia are so fucked that these days it takes a 150k year job just to get a mortgage, (prior to health shit I was only making 60k)

I'm sorry to hear that, Anon.
If you have cancer, you might actually be better off with a ketogenic diet. Most cancers can only survive on carbohydrates, so if you don't eat any you starve the cancer out.

Ironic, considering that the well meaning woo-peddler before you believes cancer can not survive if you switch to artificial sweeteners.

Have a long life anon

I didn't say anything about artificial sweeteners.
Ketogenic diets are generally almost entirely meat and dairy.
