The national debt was on a quick rise due to the recession fucking us up. Though obama didn't quell it fast enough at all through his policy making. People like blaming bush on the recession, but personally I like blaming both demos and repubs for this catastrophic failure which was in the works for many years and perhaps all americans who were voting those years need to take blame too cause they allowed their country to get to that point.
