Nitrocellulosa is the gunpowder used in launching the shells. Nitroglycerine is one type of high explosive that is not in use today, you need nitric acid to make explosives, making nitric acid is very energy intensive, UK has a serious energy shortage, draw your own conclusions about how much kaboom this factory will produce.
