Your rising property prices are caused by speculative acquisitions of these goods by corporations. They are inflating their prices and they're very happy when half the people point the finger at the bottom of the pyramid. Those mass acquisitions of land and homes are very well documented and the main actors are publicly named for anyone who cares.
How come the top 1% of the world richest country owns 50% of its wealth and you dumb fucks are still pointing to the bottom as the cause of inflating property prices. Is there a deeply burried conditioning carefully built by the CIA since the era of McCarthism that makes you allergic to even considering these kinds of arguments or anything hinting at the exceptionally odd economic power balance you're in?

They are religious zealots (progressivism). Happens a lot in human history - entire elite stratas of a civilization being blinded by ideology. And many also profit from it.
